Night life and Apres-ski
Sorry.
We removed the dancing
girls because we think
they lowered the tone.
Apres-ski: there is just one place to be from 5 or 6 pm onwards and that is the Papperla Pub (just across the bridge from the church square) - this is a heaving and exciting apres-ski bar with a great feel managed by fun-but-dangerous bar staff... Stu in the out-door bar will ply you with Malaka (huh?) while the girls inside will do the rest! Much needed food is also available before you move on to the bar's trendy nightclub, the "Schneewitschen" for Hugh and Gee's lethal cocktails and great tunes. Try it out - but don't say we didnt warn you!
Night-life round-up: Zermatt's night-scene offers a world of variety ranging from the the thriving Schneewitschen club (trendy and happening with excellent cocktails) to the eclectic collection of bars and clubs of the legendary hotel post (such as the stylish papa caesar's, the pink live music bar or the infamous broken discotheque) or to other institutions such as the the North Wall bar (the seasonaire's hang -out), the Pipe (the ultimate surfer's cantina and bar), Moods (innovative and charismatic), the Pollux T-bar night club, the Vernissage (stylish cinema, bar night-club and art gallery) or the over-decorated but curiously fancyful Hotel Alex's dancing.
Earlier in the evening apres-ski on the slopes is kicking at Olympia and Henu Stal and later (as mentioned above), Paperla Pub to name just the bare essentials... our staff is always happy to take you on a pub crawl, but it may be a long one!

An altogether hair-raising experience...
